Anandacare Moto:
Your generous donations enable us to enhance school infrastructure, provide essential nutrition, and support various programs that contribute to a conducive learning environment for tribal children. By addressing critical needs such as classrooms and sanitation facilities, we create a supportive atmosphere where students can thrive
Our Mission:
Scholarships play a pivotal role in preventing students from discontinuing their education due to financial constraints. Your support ensures that children can pursue their academic dreams from primary through secondary education, empowering them to build a brighter future
Our Model:
By adopting a child, you commit to their overall well-being, including education, nutrition, and extracurricular activities. This personalized support fosters their growth and development, providing them with opportunities they might not have otherwise.
Anandacare Charitable Trust
We started our journey with a single Ashram school by appointing a single teacher as an additional teacher, to address the critical need for more teachers. The aim was to improve the academic performance of students. This was a good stop-gap arrangement for students. Over the years, we selected and recruited more teachers. We found that the overall impact on both our students and our teachers too, has been very beneficial. It has provided experience and employment to our teachers and boosted their confidence. Many of these teachers are now motivated to continue with further studies or go in for skill-based education. Since this arrangement provided them with experience, our teachers found jobs with Navodaya Jawahar School and with the Vedanta College, Kosbad College, and even with reputed companies in Mumbai.
Any positive impact on teachers will surely ripple out to the entire community. More children seek admission to ZP schools which we are supporting with additional teachers, fun-based activities, new technology and skill-based learning such as sports, music, computer-based learning and tailoring classes. Depression in families has reduced, with some improvement in the standard of living. Opportunities have opened up for interaction with other professionals, to further teachers’ own education and careers. Real opportunities for students have brought results. A student from Dungalwadi obtained a scholarship for free education from std. 5 onwards, at Palghar’s reputed Navodaya School, where only 1 of 1000 students are selected. This is only one of many joyful examples, and we hope to see many such impacts in the near future, on both students and teachers.
